Yes, I would really like to build a walking robot, but the mechanics are just so hard to do, Honda took decades to make ASIMO walk properly! I do plan to build a working android one day, and these are steps towards that dream.

Oh I know! It's crazy! That's why when I make mine, I'm going to make her bottom heavy.

It amazes me, the human brain, that we can walk on two little feet. Look at women with their high-heeled shoes. That's nuts. Pretty little brain. Let's cut it open and see what's inside!

Me: It's so nice to be Home God.
God: Where'd you go? You've been sitting here the whole time.
Home: I have? Oh...

The AIMEC:3 Robot has just been shown on Russian TV. The Russian NTV network reaches over 100 million viewers across Russia and the former Soviet Union. Here is a link to the piece

http://www.ntv.ru/novosti/201684/

There is also a glimpse of the new AIMEC:4 head which has face recognition and is shown in eye-tracking mode. You can also see the sound localization mics on either side of the head, this can track a sound to within 3 degrees.

Congrats!! Nice piece showcasing AIMEC and other interesting pieces as well. Of course my Russian consists of only a few words (;)), it was still quite a nice coverage of your bot!

Thanks Art!

More articles on AIMEC:3 today

A nice piece in the Telegraph:

Also in the Mail (don't like the headline much!) - quite a big piece though:

Lastly It's in the Sun:

Hopefully getting some good publicity for my new Personal Robotics Company.

Freddy,

As Toymaker said, your link does not seem to be working.

I'm trying to follow the link in your signature but it does not load any page.

Maybe you should check the server.

Thank you

Wierd, everyone else is getting in okay. That link above goes to a pretty simple HTML page.

What browser are you on ? Is it up-to-date ? That could be the problem.

I will look into this some more.

Hmm, I have not used AOL to get into the site - do they have a kind of browser or something ?

Anyways, I am glad you got in and I thank you heartily for posting about your success there too.

Thanks to you and Vit for allowing me to be so cheeky !
