Still working in Delphi 2010 conversion. I've thought about the option to release the Beta in Delphi 2009, but the improvements in speed and memory are so big with Delphi 2010, that I've decided that this is worth the wait and the big work we are having.

Our engine is becoming much more stable in slower machines, and much faster in newer computers. I think this is great, because we will be able to run Denise in all netbooks, tablets and even car computers.

One of my projects related to Denise is a Car Computer System. I'm running Denise in my car with a Windows XP Pentium II processor with just 512 Mb ram. This opens a lot of opportunities for third part applications.

The Car-puter is what i had planned as well.
The system i was planning, was going to be at least, 1gig intel, 1gig ram, dvd R/W, XP Pro
Even the Small Netbooks and EEC comps fit those specs.
My Cell Phone is Almost that big. (Samsung Optima, w/win ce 6.1)
If you could stream line her to work on the Cell phone, now THAT would be something :)

Car-puters are becoming very popular tanks to Atom processors. We can set up a dual-atom High Def mini-computer for less than US$ 300.00 and US$ 150.00 for a 7" touch screen monitor. This is one of the reasons I believe very soon everyone will have one.

and why not having a Virtual Assistant with you all the time?

Guile I have the idea of having a virtual assistant with you at all time since 2002. I thought that it would make everyone feel like home if they could have a companion with them at all times. A companion that is knowledge about almost every aspect of the place you will travel to (navigation, information giving, etc etc etc). I think that this could transform the world into a massive "village". Only the last few years the technology is in place for creating something like that. I currently have 5 very sophisticated systems that implement some of my ideas on the "mobile companion". As I am still (unfortunately) a poor PhD student, I haven't got the time to go after investors (as you did). But all in good time. By the way, are you open to the idea of cooperation with the other side of Atlantic? (I am currently located in London)

Sure Giannis. My company is totally open in every aspect to collaboration. We are already doing this with a Toy Company located in London.

We here are working very hard on our SDK, so every one will be able to easily make ad-ons, plug-ins and full application based on our animation engine and in our AI engine. Then all these can be placed to sell or given for free in a collaboration web site.

If big companies are making so much money with this system, why can't we have a small share?

Also, we are open to companies or individuals that are interested in work with us on the developing of new modules, technologies or hardware that can be integrated in our engine.

Guile what kind of cooperation schemes do you offer? I mean I have extensive programming experience, but I am unsure if at the moment i can purchase your sdk. What exactly do you have in mind for people like me?

Giannis, I believe the first model of cooperation is developing add-ons or applications that can work with our engine. This can be done by using our SDK, or any other developing tool and then linked to Denise via windows API / windows message system / .DLL or any other way of communicate two applications.

Some people will want to use just our 2D engine with their applications, others may use just our AI engine connected to web PandoraBots for example. I believe there are many people that will like to use just Denise's animation engine with UltraHal, Verbot and others chat bots.

My friend Tony from England found out a French computer company that just release a tablet PC with our Vanessa MSAgent as a Virtual Assistant (http://www.engadget.com/2009/10/26/evigroups-pad-is-a-10-inch-3g-tablet-with-personality/)

So I believe one's imagination is the limit for creating some integration with our product.

Later one, we also think in hiring some programmers and graphic artist to help us make add-ons.

Guile, I'm rather releived you took an interest in NEPOMUK and especially K.I.I.M

NEPOMUK is still under construction (it's a big project!) but I'm not active in it's development.

Guile, the most complete 'NEPOMUK' desktop system is in the Linux distro Mandriva 2010. Other Linux distros are still playing catch-up.

About KIIM, I was a tad worried you might take offence to it. I'm very happy to see this isnt the case!

We're still working on 'VIRGIL' the chat-bot behind KIIM, we've had to create our own langauge (called TAIL) based off BNF! Perhaps, you might be interested in using it, over AIML?

The hand that rocks the AI cradle, may well rule the world.
