Sounds good, Sir.
I will await your email, as for your trailer it is interesting. Do you have story arch that you are shooting for, or is it more of a technology demo?
Have a great day! Brandon |

New Star Trek Q news!
Just to keep you up to date... we're getting some attention from Hollywood - some real attention finally. Lots of visitors from L.A. have been hitting the site since we mailed um-teen letters to many head producers and writers who are involved with Star Trek.
For those of you just joining the thread... Star Trek Q is a side project we've been working and writing for 10 years. The whole series is based on advancing humans to "the next level". So right now... I'm in the midst of revamping the website http://startrekq.com/ in lue of the attention we're getting... sorta what you see in the image above.
It all started about 10 years ago... when the last Trek series ended DS9. I knew there was so much more to tell! So I had the idea of Star Trek Q, based on the omni-potent beings that rule the Universe. The next day as I was walking down the sidewalk I saw what looked like an over-turned playing card. I picked it up, turned it around... and it was the letter Q! Well... not going to spoil my secrets but long story short... whoever the Q are... they are pushing this.
Hollywood here we come!

Good morning,
Thank you for the update it is appreciated. May I ask if you're using 3DS Max for the modeling? Are you baking your textures into the models, or more likely baking the lighting into them or is it real-time lighting?
Thanks again! Brandon |

Oh common... who cares about how it's made. How does it look? What could it mean? What is going on out there beyond the Dune Sea? |

LOL, it looks great and the story aspect of it creates curiosity. But I'm one of those 'nuts and bolts' kinds of people, when I see things I think to myself; "how is that done / created?" As such I ask those kinds of questions when I am able.

ARGH! In the future, they still use Windows? I wonder what the holodeck equivalent of a Blue Screen of Death is |

I'm sure the future will be nothing like this. But, like most of the current sci-fi shows, we're (they) are trying to explain current events in a metaphorical way... "the game". So we blend the present with "the future". |
