| Penguin Counting eye
This is a Penguin robot big watchful eye that can see people walking around. We need to give an eye some purpose, so this one will count people passing by a doorway. The code comments explain the necessary calibrations.
Penguin Counting Eye consists of one Penguin robot eye that will watch and count the first ten people passing the doorway and display the number on Penguins' one digit display. This is good if you want to hide penguin by your office door and see if anyone goes in after hours, or check to see if anyone has visited your Penguin Robot Lab. If the number exceeds 10, Penguin will display a special character. This is designed to read changes in ambient light. This program will function only with calibration,
Penguin eye skin
This simple robot eye mimics a human eye by approximating the distance to objects and showing a trace to the image on artificial retina skin. It can even see mirages and hallucinate under certain rare conditions. It can also report statistics about the object in the line of vision.
When Penguin puts on this magical hat, he can detect humans and sense their motion. The hat simply plugs into the top board. This is a people detector. It's tuned to detect the signature of humans and their motion.
Penguin IR Analyzer
The Penguin Infrared Analyzer (PIA) will detect and analyze infrared light. It determines if strong infrared light is present. It's also designed to detect the infrared pulse from keys pressed on remote controllers, and the IR transmitters on other robots. It will provide an immediate status report to the blue LED segment display.
Penguin powerful eye
This program works only when calibrated. It will count the number of people passing the doorway and display the number on the DEBUG screen. Powerful - counts up TO 65,535 people.
Penguin Retina Display
This simple PING))) based robot eye has super human features. It can see in total darkness, and can snapshot the retina.
It mimics the human eye by approximating the distance to objects and showing a trace to the image on artificial retina skin. It can even see mirages and hallucinate under certain conditions. It can report statistics about the object in the line of vision and will update the segment display with numbers and graphics representing distance in feet. The eye is functional with or without the debug screen. The eye is also fast and updates 2.6 times every second.
Penguin Ping Ultravision
Penguin now has an extra eye. This ultrasonic eye can be supplemented with readings of light intensity and infrared measurements using Penguin sensors.
Penguin Seeing Eye Dog
Penguin Seeing Eye Dog uses ultrasonics and sound to report the relative locations of objects in the path. The sound range is from 0 to 9 feet. Closest objects make a higher pitch sound while objects farther away make a lower pitch sound. The sound changes with each foot of distance.
