I found a reality of Full Entertainment. Well it was like a dream.

First of all, you could make your house anywhere you wanted. If you were tired for the day you just pressed a button on your arm pad and the house would form around you. Through the windows is a trimmed lawn and white picked fence. Upstairs is a nice cozy bed just waiting for you.

The next day you could pack up and go.

Place is a relative term here in this reality. There is no place that has not been created by a user. It could be said to be the ultimate in massive multiplayer gaming. Your whole life is dedicated to full entertainment. You can create, destroy, pass the time with friends, or go to a deserted beach - all by pressing a control on your arm.

I found myself choosing a cliff that overlooked a vast forest. I had pitched a comfortable bean bag and sat on it looking out over paradise on Earth. I decided to write a movie. First I described the parameters to the the interface on my arm... I asked for a mystery with these specific characters in it. It had to have lots of indiana jones action and really advanced technology. That's all the interface needed to make me one amazing movie that I watched with rapture attention. I then went on to ask for a sequel which was promptly provided. A movie made entirely from scratch at a moment's notice.

What reality was this??

You have a special kind of humor Art. Or maybe I didn't describe my vision correctly. Hmm...

Imagine a movie like Star Wars or Titanic or even a whole Star Trek series created instantly from scratch by the best Ai and computer graphics ever.

It's kind of like asking the Star Trek computer, "Computer, play something epic and grand." Then the computer would look up all songs that could be described as epic and grand. It's one heck of a subroutine drawing on many kinds of databases to accomplish the task.

So... Take it further. With a few choice details from you, the computer could write, produce, act, and direct a whole movie inside its memory... In 3 seconds. Don't you see? That's the future. That's where this technology trip the human race is on will end up.

It's pretty interesting isn't it? A life style created to complete the human being. No more hunger or wars... Just pure entertainment, relaxation, intrigue, philosophy, and of course kick-ass technology.

I'm not sure even where the human body would reside. Could we be nothing but a brain in a jar? Plugged into a vast virtual world that seemed absolutely real?

I get ya Mik!! That'd be way cool!!!

I can't help but think of one of my favorite person's enlightened quotes:

"Non-biological intelligence is growing exponentially. Biological intelligence isn't really growing at all or if it's growing, it's growing at such a slow rate that it's not noticable.

Which is why non-biological intelligence ultimately will become dominant."
