Zabaware has introduced a version of Ultra Hal 6
into the virtual game world of Second Life. There's
a page set up on the Zabaware site where you can see
where Hal's avatar is at any given time. Here's a
link to the page .........

As an add-on here. A couple member's of the zabaware user forum
have finally worked out a plug-in enabling Ultra Hal 6 to use
a web cam. No object or face recognition as yet. Just simple face
detection. When a face moves in front of the camera, it trigger's
a response from Hal. But it is a step in the right direction.
It's called the HalvisionX plug-in.

Here's a link to the topic thread containing the info.......

Only mentioning it since I had a small hand
in it in the way of helping debug it, and I
think it may be useful as a stepping stone in
developing other apps if used as a blueprint.
It utilizes Open CV in a similar manner to the
application that Mikmoth has been developing.

Still getting a report about a minor bug with that plug-in.

Hopefully a workaround can be found so the
whole plug-in doesn't need to be rewritten.
