Oh Horrors! Those were the very times I was going to make my big announcement Only kidding, I got not much to announce except it is morning and I am coding again.

Thanks for the notice Vittorio, I will forget it until I run into a "no gettum" on the forum.

My provider is one of the most relevant in Italy, with thousands of customers, so I hope it will not create any problem.

However, besides the standard backups which are done automatically every day by them, I will surely make a backup on my local PC hard disk, as I usually do once a month.

hehe, so you are now so Forum-dependent ?

I've managed to cut my VHF use from 5 to 2 times a day... ... and then I try to go easy. Very addicting forum.

A new short service interruption is scheduled for next Tuesday, as in the following message I received by my service provider:

Dear Customer,
we inform you that on Tuesday the 15th of April 2008, in the time slot between 05.00 a.m. and 07.00 a.m. (GMT +1.00 h), we will carry out extension and upgrading work on our Server Farm aimed at guaranteeing our customers more evolved and efficient services.

These operations will have the following consequences:

- Temporary suspension of the Mailbox Exchange service
- Temporary suspension of all the services included in the Hosting plans on Windows platform.

At the end of the operations all services will be available again and the emails that were sent and received during the operations' time slot will be delivered immediately.

We apologize for the delay, reminding you that we carry out these operations with the aim of constantly improving our services.

The following service interruption should last only a few minutes, within the planned time slot, so you won't probably even notice it. However, here is the message sent by my service provider.

Dear Customer,
we inform you that on Thursday the 19 of June 2008, in the time slot between 02.00 a.m. and 07.00 a.m. (GMT +2.00 h), we will carry out extension and upgrading work on our Server Farm aimed at guaranteeing our customers more evolved and efficient services.

This operation will involve a temporary interruption of the following services:
- Whois service to check domain names availability.
- Services included in the Hosting plans on Linux and Windows platform
- Mailbox Exchange service
- Email (POP3 and IMAP) and WebMail service

At the end of the operations all services will be available again and the emails that were sent and received during the operations' time slot will be delivered immediately.
We apologize for the inconvenience, reminding you that we carry out these operations with the aim of constantly improving our services.
