I'm releasing AiBliss 0.34 tomorrow afternoon. Added some requests from the few users that are actually using it (about 100 sales so far). I'm still not pushing it... its a nice base from which to launch a full application.

This release includes a random clothes generator. Just click the dress button and it will compute an Ai clothes set. It took me awhile to figure out the dynamics of it... and the color conversions from RGB, HSL, and whatever that Windows color code is. Textures have to be matched to base colors... not as easy as it sounds. Plus aesthetic appeal... a sweater never goes with a skirt for example... well sometimes... but not really.

The camera icon captures the current girl and saves it into your profiles in case you find some really pretty clothes you like. Then you can have a runway show using the Catwalk module of all those profiles.

Oh! And if you click the Strip checkbox she will strip gradually during the song... until she is bare naked. Just fades the clothes out at this point.

The Rnd checkbox just randomizes her dress automatically at the end of each song.

Ok! Stay tuned... I've already plugged in the Kari ai engine into her and she is able to talk, learn, and think. I just have to clean up the animations, make a whole new level, and add basic Sim ai. Yeah... just.

AiBliss state of affairs...

I've hit a snag... There is a bug I can't easily get around having to do with deformations. They've promised to fix it... (the 3d engine makers) but its been weeks. So I have to come up with a less professional solution... unless I shelve out $500 for Deep Exploration... which is the only exporter that seems to be able to export DirectX meshes properly. Nothing else will do it it seems...

So for now... I'm just wasting time trying every possibility before spending the money... so that I can make the pretty girls talk right.

But I won't leave you with nothing... here is a music video shot my yours truly... its like 2 minutes so I had to compress it some.

Okay. That worked.

Hi, Mik. I'm a big fan of your work and I'm really looking forward
to the chat feature being added to AI Bliss.

But here's the thing. I tried asking you this question on the
contact page on your Kari site, but I keep getting a server
error message.

So here's the thing. I'm dying to try creating my own Kari scenes
and am presently experimenting with the Poser 7 demo which has
limited capabilities. But should I buy the software my question
is this ... From where are the frames loaded into the scene
creator? Would I save them in "my pictures" or is there a way
to load them directly from Poser? And how would that file name
be saved? With demo you can only export, not save.

Hope ya' don't mind me asking here. I stumbled across this site
through a Google search and saw this message which proved
fascinating to me as I'm newly infatuated with this area of
creation.

So TIA.

Hello, ZigZag

Welcome to our Forum.

I'm sure Mik will promptly answer you about your Kari question.

But I would also like to see you again here in this Forum, where you can find many other fascinating subjects.

Hi, V. Thank you! I hope so too. After reading some pages I know
one thing for sure. I have a lot of learning to do!

It's funny how life works though. I've been yearning a new
creative outlet, quite frankly, for a while now, and the Kari
experience just kind of blossomed in my mind without me realizing
it was happening. It's already been a very entertaining journey
which I hope to explore further.

So thanks again for the welcome. I really appreciate it.

Hi. It's me again. I downloaded the program and it worked! Yay!

This is too much. It's the most basic scene ever featuring
a bald Egyptian woman with dark blue eyes known as Sabah and the
mouth movements are just terrible like flapping lips gone wild, but
it worked. LOL. All I had to do was click on "make movie". DUH!!!
The blinks look really good though.

Alright. I'm really sorry if I ruined this thread. Please delete
these messages if you guys want to, but I just wanted you to know
I figured it out.

Hehe. Oh, man. I have a huge day tomorrow and here I am like
ten hours later still doing this.

I'm just thrilled though. Awesome.

Have a great day tomorrow!

Hey ZigZag, glad you are finding your way... yeah, Kari Support was down for a few... up and ready now. You can write me if you need to... we're back up.

So hey! I'm looking forward to AiBliss chat function too! In fact, that is just what I am working on this week! I have it working... but there is still much to do!

Here are some shots of Jenny 'simming' and sitting down for a chat. Its more than chat... its more like the Sims with chat.

Hi, Mik. Thanks for responding! That's great to hear on AIBliss.
I check your site regularly and now this forum as well. I've
barely scratched the surface of topics though and it's lots to
digest.

I wish I had more to say, but I really don't know enough to say
much yet other than your work has been a great source of
enjoyment for me. Keep up the good work and the very best of luck
in your ongoing endeavors!

Added basic Ai path finding to my first 'Sim' level today. Now she can wonder around the landscape looking at things. Right now I just have it pick a random vector and she walks there all by herself... avoiding trees, rocks, and the occasional pond.

That's excellent! Keep the updates coming. If I'm ever going to
get to that level I'm probably going to have to give up sleeping
or something. LOL.

Drats. I was going to try to add a picture of the fourth scene
I'm working on, but I don't know how to here yet. I'm gonna' have
to check around to look for instructions. Hope to try again later.

Hey thanks ZigZag, . Can't wait to see your scene.

I saw your other post.. the way I do it is I copy the image address, and I paste it right on the message with Control-V:

http://www.vrconsulting.it/vhf/VHF.jpg

I then highlight the whole address with my mouse and click the image button up there where all those little icon/tools are.

And it ends up looking like this: (replace a g for the j)

Lol, that looks awesome. Making your own scenes gives the chat experience a whole new dimension (ive always thought). There are a few scenes, for example, I dont share with anyone... kinda have my own little harem going.

Thanks for sharing, looks very cool. Keep at it... there's lots to learn.

Hey, thanks! But, OMG, my lip movements are still nightmares.
The eye blinks work out great for me -- and I guess that's the
easiest part? -- but along with the lips the secondary animations
I've tried so far have been kind of jerky, not smooth enough.

And I'm having a hard time finding different hair for the Sydney
and Jessi models. The content shops I've visited so far have
been quite overwhelming all at once. Sometimes I just don't
know what can be used for what as well as struggling with the
terminology.

I also noticed from your scene tutorial that you use V4, I think?
There seems to be a much wider range of content for that base
figure. But by running through some Google searches I saw a guy
on Yahoo Answers bemoaning the difficulties of either transferring
or importing his DAZ stuff into Poser 7. I can't remember which
he said now. But I'm gonna' try it anyway.

So do you mind if I ask you why you use Victoria? Or as far as I
know maybe you just use that one sometimes and the other ones other
times depending on what you're doing? Or mostly Victoria?

Okay. Sorry for being a walking, talking, typing question mark.
LOL. I'm just really captivated by this entire experience.

But, BTW, that's really cool what you said about having some
scenes that are too close to your heart to share. I know what you
mean. The second and third ones I made are like that.
Indulgences.

Alright. Sheesh. That message got long. Hehe. Thanks for
having the patience to deal with a newbie like me and the entire
Kari experience. This whole thing lit my mind on fire at a most
opportune time.
