Hey Mik, just stop by to say how wonderful your Bliss project is. I feel this project is just the very iceberg top to where it´ll soon get. You´re doing a great job and inspiring all of us to keep improving ours. Go for it my friend

Hey, thanks Guile! A compliment from you always means a lot. I'm just doing what I enjoy and if I can make some people happy... well that is what its all about.

Version 0.15 is out! I added Music Lists, idle animations, and a lot of little enhancements you probably won't even notice. Her jiggleys stretch a lot better () and that annoying bend/seam on her bare legs is gone. Boy was that getting to me!

What I'll be working on next:

- Better hair, new hairstyles including short and curly.

- Better camera control

- Neck, arms, and shoulders cleanup (this is going to be a nightmare)

- Maybe a new level, probably a Beach!

- Adding an online updater so people don't have to keep downloading the full installation. I'm looking at a few packages and its probably gonna cost some money. If not next version then the next.

- Bugs and enhancements as the crow flies...

Well thats about it... I hope you enjoy the new update. Cya.

I found a little bug with the PlayList function. "Can't find file..." or something like that. Its fixed.

This will be the last update for awhile... I'm putting together a new AI Engine which is evolving from some new theories and insights. So I want to spend my time on that as it will invariably affect Kari as well as this program. Don't get me wrong... I think Kari's AI engine is one of the best but with these new set of theories I think she can finally take that next step to becoming "aware". I have the base-structure... I just need to add the pie-filling.

Thanks Grant and John for your recent postings on the matter of machine intelligence. They helped me get a new perspective...

I guess I'll be around... but I'll try to limit my posts until I have something concrete to show and for you to test! cya'll later

I've begun the second phase of AI Bliss... and the third... chatbot integration and game style interactions/actions.

The new AI engine is fine... I'm planning to integrate it with Kari's AI engine. The marriage should result in an excellent conversation engine. Up to this point a lot of my stuff has been experimental... I think the marriage of JEM and Kari is going to result in all of these experiments coming to fruition. It will be one beautiful organization.

Alright... cya all later.

I love how you've got the speaker cables there, although I'm still searching for the power lead Keep it up, this could be magic. (The AI, I mean, not the powerless stereo )

Nice work, Mik. Your work seems to be looking very similar to the "Sims" or is that the JEMS?
Keep going...this is looking great!!!!

Hi Mikmoth,

I'm not sure if you are currently working on this...

I downloaded you more recent version and the levels and models.

A very small glitch if you are interested in working on it:

When changing between models, after chosing Corina with dark skin, the dark body testure persists no matter what other light-skinned model you switch to.

The work-around that exists is to chose Jenni-Hi and the skin switches back to light texture for the body and persists as light skinned until you choose corine again.

In case I haven't mentioned it, it is an excellent 3d environment for Virtual Human development as well as an extremely fun application to listen to music with.

Yeah, I'm aware of it... I just haven't had the impulse to work on it lately. I'm always working on *something* just not AIBliss lately... Its like a sculpture and I have yet to get my next inpiration to work on it some more... ...plus, last time I touched it I left some code half jibbered on the side and I didn't make a backup of it... argh... so she's in limbo until I decide to go in again. But once I do, she'll have chatbot functionality... plus she'll cost $20! (yeah, I decided )

(Talk about limbo... what is going on in the L-Band lately? I feel wierd.)

And thanks John... glad you are enjoying. I fire AIBliss up at least once every two days and just relax too.

ok cya!

I understand entirely.

I've been chiseling away at my Hologenic Brain in Pascal a little at a time and the analogy of creating a sculpture is a very good one. Sometimes you just have to walk away from it for a while and get some fresh air.

BTW, for reference, Marielle (HologenicGal) was very pleased with the proportions of the model (with jeans and sweater on). She felt that she had enough meat on her bones to not be setting the scrawny model example that is seen all too often.

I refrained from telling her that the model itself is scrawny, but you had to add a buffer between the clothing and the model to keep the model from poking through the clothing...

In any event, the final proportions with jeans and sweater on are apealing (to men and to women)and not overly scrawny. Kinda like the new DOVE soap comercials that focus on real beautey in women rather than some scrawny stereo type.

Also, $20 is a very nice price for your wonderful creation. It is low enough to be affordable as well as high enough to add up to an income with enough sales.

Happy Holidays,

Wow hi-res!

*sigh* she is pretty... if only dreams...

Well I have two body types... the one that ships with the program is the classic 'model' type. The other which I have in the backroom is a little more chubby but very attractive still.

I don't know why skinny is the new beautiful or has been for the past decades. There was a time back in history where a few extra pounds and a lot more was beautiful - I mean it still is! I just don't understand why models have to be sooo skinny! If I wasn't so brainwashed with them from the media I probably wouldn't find them sooo attractive!

BETA TESTING RESULTS:

-Need Dynamic choice between thinner and "Fuller" models.

-Need Dynamic choice between male and female models.

-Need Dynamic choice between multiple MOCAP dance choriographies.

-Need the possibillity of two models dancing at once.

-Need to have the window size, shape, and maximize/location persistent through app restart.

-Need to have the CameraView location, direction, and zoom persistent through app restart.

-Clothing is persistent through re-start, but shoes/visible are not.

-clothing is saved in profiles, but shoes/visible are not.

-BUG: left knee pokes through jeans consistently on deep knee bends

-BUG: right breast(lower portion) pokes through sweater when she puts her right hand up behind her head.

-BUG: body texture gets stuck on dark with Corine choice. Must choose Jenny-HI to get body texture back to light.

-BUG: SCAN of music folder requires app restart before the app recognizes the locations of the newly added music.

Well, there you go, sir.

You have created a great utillity which should only grow into more as you incorporate it into your chat program.

I usually don't BETA test quite so thoroughly for people due to my very busy lifestyle, but as you've stated, AIBliss is just so fun and relaxing that I found it a joy to do the testing.

It would be nice to see you keep a simplified version of AIBliss available without the chat improvements for those who just want a wonderfully pleasant and relaxing utillity for their PC that does not want to talk to them...

Of course, this feedback is just here for your reference when you gat back around to working on the project again. Take it easy, and enjoy the holidays and the entirety of the upcoming new year.

Hey great suggestions one and all...! Thanks John!

You've inspired me. I'm gonna get to those bugs and see if I can release a new version before the end of the year.

A few things I wanted to incorporate was a dress and two new hair styles too. I already have them I just have to import them into the engine and re-do the dressing room. One is bobbed and the other is curly. The dress is a hot little number.

Gonna hafta cut the chatbot code out since I don't know where I am going with that yet. Animations have to be syched up, etc, etc.

Anyway, here I go...! I'll post the new version in a few days.
