I have been the victim of false information... apparently I can license my program as many times as I want, but only 3 times a day.

So i've taken the tv3d logo off the program.

If nobody comes back with any issues, i'm going to start posting my website around the web.

Oh, I also fixed an animation that was really getting on my nerves. There's one animation where she spins around that looked strange so I made a few enhancements.

I'm going to spend the next two weeks working on version 0.2 and putting in some of your suggestions.

Thanks everyone for participating. You've been extremely helpful!

I am glad Somebody had good suggestions. I haven't done mine yet. Not that they would have been good. SNots.

Hello,
Just performed a test of AIBliss.

Sys Info:
CPU - Pentium 4, 2.4Ghz running to 2.8(sweet-spot)
memory - 2 gigs
OS - WinXP Pro Black
Sound - on board RealTek '97
video - Nvidia 6200 256Mb

currently, all systems and programs running very
smooth. This includes Photoshop CS3, Office 2007,
various Planesoft screen savers,various emulators
for major consoles, Gothic, MPC, Nero Showtime,
Joost, Verbot, and Ultra Hal trial. (only memory
and video intensive programs listed).

Tested AIBliss version 0.1 - Oct 09, '07 @ 18:14 PST
from download of same time.

Installation went very well, including extra
character module. Used desktop shortcut to run.
Learned by accident that after initial operation,
and setting adjustment, must restart for graphics
to work.

Tried all adjustments and settings, all three
characters, all clothes, and nude @_@ with combinations
of camera, shading and aliasing with each, (may
have missed a combination or two).

RESULTS:
After the initial disappointment of the graphics
failure, I wanted to make sure that there was nothing
interfering with operation. Tried to run program again,
worked very well. Played a variety of music from "Acoustic
Alchemy", "Pat Metheny", unknown track: "Little Green
Spaceman", and a few "Pink Floyd" tracks.

Findings:
Graphics freeze when accessing the mp3 control and or any other
screen. Graphics tend to erase when frozen during the initial
selection of other screen. During dance routines, (all),
there are slight glitches in character modeling. These flaws
are most notable on 3/4 front side, 3/4 rear side and full back
views. The model malformations are; neck dis-joints in the middle
bends in completely unnatural ways, both shoulders tend to flatten
at the joint during twisting movement, and occasionally the middle of
the back will slightly "step" (picture the top corner of a square).
This last is only occasionally, and slight when visible. The characters
do not change pace or routine with music changes. The mp3 player must be
re-started affter the second scan, as the newly scanned folder does not
show. After second scan, first files do not disappear, and when selected
give an error notice. Other than this, the mp3 player and EQ run flawlessly.

Opinion:
WOW, for a version 0.1, even a 0.8, this is fantastic, love the models, and
the fluidity of movement. Would like to see a change of pace or routine
with change of music. All in all, this is a great program with superb visual
effects and background.

Yours,
MacFalic

Hello again,

I accidentally left out a couple little things.
Just want the report to be complete.(By the way, report/eval. was just that, not criticism in
any way, kind or sort!!)

The character seems to dance as though she has shoes on, even when barefoot. There are render tears under character's arms when dancing and turning.

That just about does it. If you or anyone wants or needs beta testers, just let me know. I try to be as professional as Lockheed Destructive Physical Analysis has taught me.

Hi Mikmoth,

I managed to get AIBliss downloaded by remote access to my desktop even though I am not at home.

Everything loaded perfectly, the extra character loaded perfectly as well.

I got a couple of mp3's transferred from Marielle's(Hologenicgal) laptop since I did not have any on my own PC.

I really like the ease of changing dress and character and profile.

I do not have the abillity to appreciate the fluidity of movement since my remote access to the PC does not have fluid motion across the interface.

Overall, I am very impressed as usual with your work.

Alright, I finally made it home.

Corina
Dark hair
sweater
skirt
strap shoes
All 3D options selected
Equalizer

She seems to do really well with slower more interpretive dancing for slow songs. Her moves seem quick, but soon you realize that she is matching every subtlty of the music.

I simply love the EQ and the background images displayed.

Smooth motion, and she stops between songs which is nice. No trouble with the video card, but I am hesitant to leave it running over night since I have had a history of overheating my video card.

I can't seem to et the playlist to play through the entire mp3 list available unless I select random.

Nevermind, I just found your toggle for random/linear.

Very Kool, Mikmoth.

Thank you very much! I am glad you got it to work. Its one stupid mistake after another with me. That remote desktop sounds really intriguing... wasn't aware you could setup something like that. hmm!

Thanks for your most detailed evaluation Macfalic. I am aware of many of those issues... most of them seem too small to worry about at this point. Here are some things that really are getting on my nerves:

- Sometimes when the music stops she keeps dancing and the song doesn't change.

- Her hips have a small sharp edge when she bends sometimes.

- When I try to scan my MP3 directory and hit Cancel the 3D freezes.

I will fix all of these within the next few days so watch out for a .011 release. And don't worry... I'm not expecting anyone to keep tabs or keep up with my work... if you like the program and it makes you happy, well super! I'm happy.

Made a new character btw...

Thanks again John. (you shouldn't be working so late!)

And Thanks Macfalic!

I ABSOLUTELY agree.

I just got home for the third time tonight and it is 0237hr in the morning.

I've been doing this on-call work in hospitals since 1984 and I have pretty much had enough. If I could create the "best new thing" application and make enough money to give it up(being on call), I would probably end up living a lot longer.

Anyway, I had to turn off the antialiasing to get the fps up to 88 which was nice. it has been running for a few hours and my fps is hovering around 50 which is still very nice.

Oh, and I use the free version of LogMeIn which works very well except for any motion video and there is no sound unless you pay for the expensive version.

https://secure.logmein.com/home.asp?lang=en

You have to download the free version, and then you ALSO have to make sure that you select the LogMeInFree version during the install rather than the LogMeInProTrial version which expires in 30 days!

I find it to be a very useful tool when you are away from home, but still are able to gain access to a PC.

Great enhancements, Mikmoth

My opinion is that this product should be sold at least at a few dollars, which would allow you to invest in developing more advanced functionalities. (Just my opinion, of course).

A few little technical points in the latest release:
1. The time indicator (hh::mm:ss) is positioned too much on the right. I see only hh:mm:s.
2. This is version 0.11 but it still displays Bliss Player 0.1
3. On the site, the link on Adora takes you to Jungle.

Thank you, Mikmoth, for sharing with us this great product.

I see it now Vittorio... oops! I should have those little fixes in by tomorrow. Thanks!

A few dollars huh? I'm starting to think along the same lines... cuz I'm starting to brainstorm the chatbot function and well... I would just hate to give that away for free (soooo much work has gone into it). Yeah, maybe a few... just a few.

Hey, thanks Pundamentalist!

I think a few $'s would be a good idea too - you will probably need to buy things to make future projects so why not let this fund your work.

Well, I'm not sure what I'm going to do... but I'm gonna try my hardest to make it as charge free as possible. The whole point to this experiment is well..... anyways...

I uploaded version 0.12 and added a new character. Fixed those darn links too.

Here is the link so you don't have to go clicking...
