So... I've been researching word relations and word triggers. I really needed a database of words that relate to each other. Synonyms won't work because you rarely find a person who uses a synonyms for words they already know in their day to day conversation. What I really needed was Trigger Words! Words that pair up, that usually go together, that are 'related'.

This little program will parse a large body of text and extract trigger words. It handles most text. All you need are sentences that end with a period. Question marks, exclamation marks, quotes, these will work too.

There's a data file called WordTrivs.dat that has all the trivial words I want to exclude... is, has, and, a, etc. You can just edit it with a text editor.

I don't know what you would use this for... but for me its really come in handy. I'm actually parsing a 50 MB file of newsfeeds on my laptop which is going to take a few days! Programs like this always are so slow. I got my methods from a utility called Trigger Toolkit and that one claims to take several days too... so I'll just hafta be patient.

Anyway, here it is... download it, use it, whatever...
