Go to Google Image search and you will find a little camera icon on the right of the search box. You can search the web with an image now!

Isn't that fantastic? Say you want to plan a vacation. Find an image of what you would like to see on your trip and search it. All kinds of places and information comes up - probably the exact place where the image was taken.

It also does similar images. So you can search for other pictures that are alike to the image you uploaded. I suspect a neural net here.

Pretty cool if you ask me. I'm going to be using it alot.

Mik,

A while back I received an image (on my phone) of an architectural gargoyle and was curious where it was from. A friend used a google app (Googles?) and took a picture of it with his smart phone. In less than 15 seconds, it came back indicating that the gargoyle was from a particular church in New Your City!! (Named the church exactly) Just from a photo of a gargoyle. Very cool technology indeed!!

Pretty soon, there will be no place to run nor hide!!
