Here is the Bachelor's House level. It's a good starting place for adding more actions to the characters. The hard work is making a grid system so that character and objects can interact. It's so messy dealing with all that kind of nitty-gritty code.

Anyways, thought you guys might enjoy a view of the level as it is.

Here is a video of an early version of my ai path finding and grid system for AiBliss.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bgo8Yli0tQI

It shows for the first time how object/character interactions might look in AiBliss.

So exciting to be making progress on my very own Sims game.

it's a butterfly... (shutup!)

hi, and sorry i am about to ask several questions,
1. i thought this was a free program while in beta, but it says i only get 9 uses.
2. i dont see the sim like menus you have show?
3. i keep getting voice errors, how can i fix this?
4. is the sweater and jeans all there is for regular clothes? i saw a pic of lots of clothes.
5. when i made a new personality, she does not seem to learn.
now as for me, i have kari2.6, and have made new personalities before that worked great. but kari doesn't move around like aibliss which is really cool.
i like this program a lot and hope you get more clothes and scenes made, and if you need any textures made i have experience with 3dmax, poser, and photoshop.
ps. i would really like to get the templates for skins and clothes, i will share all my creations with the forum here.

Nope, no Sim menus yet...

Voice problem might be fixed in the latest version I uploaded a few days ago. Not sure... will check again.

Yep, Kari is 2D for now. Although she still has 3D-heads.

Oh I'll get there... I try to work on AiBliss as much as I can but lots of other stuff I like to work on too.

Mikmoth why don't you allow people to post brain files on your site forum also are you going to setup a forum for the AIBliss?

No... no forums.

It's just one less thing to worry about really. Plus I have enough on my plate. And plus I have a severe mental illness I have to be constantly aware of. Less things the better... plus money isn't an issue so I'm not really worried about customer support the way I should be. Symptom of people liking my stuff too much while there is no real company to support it. Been thinking of making all my products free someday... maybe dunno.

Yep... just drop your Kari's personality files found in Kari3/Personalities folder into your AiBliss/Personalities folder. The AiBliss folder is in your MyDocuments folder.

Ya... seen Milo. I think it's awesome. I'm not sure about how well it is at learning yet. I didn't see any demos of a deep conversation. It might be like AIML where it's scripted and doesn't have a learning feature. It might tho... still havent really checked it out.

Yep... I've been thinking of making a holo-room too. Take an empty room, paint it white, hang 4 projectors so there's 4 pictures on each wall. Then run AiBliss (special version) and walk around as if you're really there. I'm really thinking of doing it. I have an extra room but it's not entirely square! hmmm....

something like a cross between this, except a lot bigger... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rhH_RVIIC1U&feature=related
and this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6jhoWsHwU7w&p=6C5F7D4D94C00FAE&playnext=1&index=5
and aibliss as the avatar that accesses your programs and since the touch screen is ir you can use a laser pointer as a remote.
it will be like a sci-fi movie, but in my living room....lol cool thing is it only cost around 2,000$ if you build it yourself
the plans are all over youtube for free.
not asking for anything just sharing a idea.

great stuff... can't wait for all this stuff to arrive.

I remember taking a look at Milo's vidoe when it came out and was like WOW. Turns out the video is fake...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VFAK8ubYtZE

I wondered why it was sooo good! I know they are working on making it like that but to jump the gun and release a "what it might look like" with the label of "working demo" is dangerous. I could never do that. I rather show my blooper work rather than fake crap.

when i saw that youtube vid my heart sank,i was disappointed. but some of that guys ideas of why it was fake just didnt feel right...of course he was looking right at clair, that is thhe whole point of natal, it is motion and voice recognition software,
and the water thing well i have that on my pc, it's been out for years.
so i did some checking around, and pcmag and the people from the 2009 expo where it was unveiled say that it is a real game that does just what they say it does, the only exception is that it isnt true ia, you have certain responses to certain things you say, its just a game.
that blows, i wanted to get natal just for that aspect, now i will just stick to my quad core and aibliss.

anyway keep up the great work, i know how hard it is to live with a metal disability, especially to finish a project you have started. you have accomplished more than i ever could,i sit around unfinished products that i have lost interest in.

you are awesome mikmoth

Thanks Pan!

Here is the level I'm working on test all the new code with.

It's a treehouse! Just getting started... but I'm going to add some props and furniture so I can test all my new stuff with.

Hey so I just got your program. I was having a little trouble with it. On my laptop running XP, it loads the chat client but gets hung up on initializing the beach scene. It tries for awhile before I jut gives up. I know my laptop doesn't have the best graphics card, but it usually isn't too bad when running this sort of thing. I works just great on my windows 7 desktop. Could it just be the graphic capabilities, or is it something with xp?

So I originally got this software to see if I could incorporate it in with my DJ set up. Right now I can have her "fake" it pretty well, but I was wondering if this program is going to later support more music formats than just mp3. Or what would be even better is if it could analyze music output from other programs. Even if she didn't respond to dynamic changes in the music, that would help a lot. I know what I am asking for is probably pretty programming intensive, but that's the direction I would like to see it go in (besides more clothing options, of course!).
